| Historical Profile: | Kalena
was born on Bajor during the occupation by the Cardassians. She was raised
in one of the mining camps, but because of her petite frame, she was unsuitable
for hard labor. She was forced to work as a cook since she was a little
girl. Her parents were both killed during battles, and she learned early
to be self-reliant and resilient in order to survive. After the occupation
ended, she had no ties to keep her on Bajor, and she was curious about
the rest of the galaxy. She had an opportunity to accept a job as a cook
on board a small ship. She changes jobs often, accepting new positions,
always wanting to explore more.
Kalena had a short affair with a Klingon Starfleet officer. When he was killed in action, Kalena adopted his daughter as her own. Most of her free time is spent with her daughter, March'ek. March'ek and Kalena are often arguing, because both of them are so strong-willed. |
| Personality Profile: | Kalena has a bit of a temper and a sharp tongue. She is vivacious and fun-loving, but has a bad habit of acting or saying what she thinks without considering the consequences. She's also a bit bossy. The members of her staff refer to her as "Her Highness." |
| Physical Profile: | Kalena is 5'3", petite but curvy. She has short, spiky red hair and green eyes. |
| Special Notes: | Kalena has a Klingon daughter she adopted two years ago. Their relationship is a bit emotional, but they love each other as much as if they were related by blood. |
