You recycle!
You recycle!
Now it's your turn to take control and start some recycling efforts!
With the help of an adult, get some trash cans and mark them for recycling. You might make a sign for one that says "CANS".
You might make a sign for another that says "PAPER".
Put these trash cans in special places in your school. Be sure to let the students and teachers know about your special project. You might want to make posters to inform everyone about the recycling.
At least once a week, get an adult to help you collect the recyclables and take them to a special center where they can be turned in.
Be sure you keep a record of how much you have collected. You might make a chart of how many pounds of paper or how many cans you collect. See how much you can collect during a month, or during three months.
You'll be
surprised at how much you can recycle!
