Note:  Huron Clayton is actually buried in Statenville Cemetery. Clara Clayton was unable to attend the funeral, and D.W. Clayton stayed home with her. When they were ready to place a headstone, the grave could not be located, so the headstone was used in the back steps of D.W.'s log cabin for years until it was taken to the cemetery and placed beside the mother and father's grave.

Second Note: In the 1980s, there was a storm with a lot of damaging wind. The storm knocked down many headstones, and they were put back in the places they are thought to have originally been. Concrete slabs were poured over the sites when the headstones were put back into place. Actual location of graves may differ by a few inches or feet. It is also not known which ancestor was buried in which grave for the oldest ones.
